Framing Day 80 - Waterproofing, Painting, Tiling and Wiring!

It had been a busy two days. Not only could I get a decent look at the waterproofing (yes, and my footprints!), the tiles had been delivered! I'd been worried all along that the lovely tiles we'd ordered were no longer available. We had one switch performed on us, but I was worried that the lovely textured (not flat) tile for the splashback and galley would be added to the "no longer available" list. Thankfully, that was not the case! Some of the wiring had also started to have been pulled through.

Some of this has actually been tidied up.

One of the upstairs bathrooms waterproofed. All of them were done.

Framing Day 78 - Master Ensuite Waterproofing

At the time of signing, PD had an 'alternate solution' of waterproofing areas that was 'deemed to satisfy' the building code requirements.

Partly because of the 'alternate' wording, and mostly because of the fact that it was not brought to our attention during contract signing (which is rushed to say the least), we opted for full and complete water proofing.

I believe that PD no longer offer this 'alternate solution'. :)

The waterproofing was a thick, heavy grey mixture painted on.

And yes, those are my fat foot prints there. I put my foot in it, both literally and figuratively. I apologised to my Site Supervisor about this.

Framing Day 77 - Unlocked. Again!

This was not the first (nor the last) time that we'd arrived to find the house left open like this. Sometimes, on consecutive days.

Framing Day 76 - Internal Fit out and pull through

Now that the nice plaster has been painted, it's time we cut holes in it!

Heatlamps installed in the other bathrooms. We have SpeedHeat in-floor heating in the master ensuite.

Framing Day 74 - Mouldings Applied!

The finished mouldings have been fitted! Certainly gives the house a more finished look.
