Framing Day 71 - Painting!!!

The painters have arrived! They've been busy!

I never realised that the front windows were so close to the floor!

Framing Day 66 - More Hebel and Plumbing Updates

In the two days since the previous post, the minions had been busy.

Not only had the Hebel been put on the garage, there had also been additional plumbing works for the hot water service performed.

Framing Day 64 - Plumbing Updates

I should probably stop calling these Framing Day XX, but... Meh. At least it shows some form of linear progression.

A few days later, the plumbers had returned to do some more plumbing work.

They managed to line up the down pipe and storm water pipes!

Gas, Hot and Cold Water along with Power points.

Framing Day 61 - Stairs in, Cabinetry In, Doors on!

It did not take long for the stairs to be put into place! The cabinetry was also put in.

The only change we made post site start, was to have the laundry door hung the other way (a zero cost variation). Our Site Supervisor was ok with this. Needless to say, the door was hung the wrong way. The door frame is made in the factory (they do not do it on site), and despite the many assurances to the contrary, it was hung the wrong way. I informed David, and I got "Oh No! You're kidding me!" Nope.

The missing panel was damaged and PD picked it up, and ordered a new one.

Now that's a galley sink! The AFA-768!

Quality Control of the Slab's Concrete - The Report

After much requesting, the quality report of the slab's concrete (as detailed in this post - Quality Control of the Slab's Concrete) finally arrived!

My personal suspicions are that these reports are generated regularly within Boral, it was the fact that an end client was requesting a copy is what threw them.

I never got any sense that neither should i not be asking nor should I be receiving a copy, more of a how do we get that?
