Well, partially.
By the end of Friday, the roof had been partially put on. One issue was that we have Ironstone guttering but a Surfmist roof and they had delivered Ironstone screws used to attach the roof. With other builders, the tradies would be able to go and purchase the correct screws, but not with PD. They were forced to wait quite a while. Eventually they had partially attached the roof with the Ironstone screws; the roof looked like a watermelon!
Interestingly enough, the weekend's weather was forecast to have storms and 90 km/h winds! I wonder wonder if we'd have a roof at all come Monday!
We did. No damage to the roof (or any collateral damage to any nearby properties either).
For those interested, the roof area of our 44 sq is 254 sq m.
